Greater is in comparison to something else. Scripture did not say, the Great One, it says, the Greater One. And “inside” contrasts with “outside.” If He is on the inside, then something else is on the outside. If Scripture is saying the One on the inside is greater, it means the one on the outside is trying to prove to be great. What is it on the outside that is trying to be greater than the reality of God on the inside of you?

What is He greater than? He is greater than sickness. He is greater than symptoms. He is greater than pain. He is greater than any challenge and opposition I am dealing with. Let’s keep our attention on the Greater One on the inside of us than on what is opposing us, then we will step into the dimension of the reality of the Word. If we are not experiencing the reality of the Word, it is because we have allowed our attention to be on something other than the reality of the Word. Is your attention on the need or is it on what God says about the need? Do not try to figure out the answer, just be conscious and allow the Greater One on the inside to go to work for you. As you stay focused on the Greater One, decide to act on the Word of God this week, and as you act out the Word, the Word will become your reality
