How come Abraham offered Lot the opportunity to make the choice first? Didn’t he realize Lot could choose the better land and his cattle would suffer? How come he gave Lot the opportunity to choose the fertile and well watered land? Lot chose the best land for himself! But look at this: Lot did that because he thought the land was what was going to take care of him. But Abraham said, you can go ahead and choose whatever you want, why? Because Abraham knew it was “the Blessing” that takes care of me! Watch this, no matter what land you take, the one I step on is blessed! I bring the blessing to the land, I am a child of the blessing. Wherever Abraham went, the blessing went. Wherever you go, the blessing goes! And the blessing also says to you, “Look as far as you can see in every direction – north, south, east, and west. I am giving all this land, as far as you can see, to you and your descendants as a permanent possession.” You have the blessing, do not just depend on what you can see, depend on the blessing and take action.
