Roman 6:6 – “Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Christ, that sin might lose its power in our lives.”
Ephesians 2:5 – “He made us alive together with Christ. He gave us life when He raised Christ from the dead. He raised us up with Christ, and seated us with Him in the heavenly realm in union with Christ”
Meditation / Motivation
The death that Christ died on the cross targeted our old sin nature and nailed it to the cross. The
rule that the old fallen nature had is broken and its tendencies should not dominate our lives. So,
we do not have to allow old destructive patterns to rule in our lives, they were nailed to the cross
when Christ died. For when Christ died, we died with Him.
We received new life and a new nature when Christ rose from the dead. This new nature is the nature of Christ, and this new nature brings new possibilities. This new nature gives us access into an intimate relationship with Almighty God. This new nature gives us access into everything Christ has made available – Romans 8:32
We were not just raised together with Christ but made to sit together with Him in the place of all power and authority. This is what give us the power to rule and reign in this life. Being conscious that we are sitting together with Christ in the place all authority and power gives us the ability to overcome every situation we face in this life. It is the place of power!

Prayer / Declaration
Father, thank you for the price that was paid on the cross. Complete price was paid with nothing
missing! I acknowledge that my old nature was crucified with Christ on the cross. Every
destructive tendency that is associated with the old nature is destroyed. Addiction is broken!
Negative patterns in my life are broken! With the new nature of Christ, I rule and reign in life! I
have access to an intimate relationship with God, and I declare that relationship is growing day
by day! I have access to everything our Lord Jesus Christ has made available! I have been given
the ability to overcome every challenge I face this week, in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus
Christ!
