charges-dropped

Scripture

Romans 8:33-34 – “Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us”

Meditation / Motivation

There is so much to glean from in this portion of Scripture. Every charge against us has been dropped because the penalty for it has been paid and fully satisfied – Galatians 3:13. A charge here means to accuse someone of something, especially an offense under the law. By the grace of God every accusation has been answered by the blood of Jesus Christ. We are God’s picked out ones, we are God’s chosen ones, we are God’s favorite ones.

We have been justified! We have been declared innocent. We have been declared righteous! We have been rendered as we really ought to be! Praise God! No one can condemn us; there is no sentence against us! If Christ gave His life for us, He is not going to turn around and condemn us! Added to that, the Scriptures says, Christ is interceding for us in heaven. God has acquitted us and removed our sin and guilt. Satan’s accusations against us can no longer stand! Hallelujah! Let us face this week with that consciousness!

Prayer / Declaration

Thank you, Lord, that all the charges against me have been dropped! Full has been paid by the Finished Work of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus has silenced every accusing voice against me. I declare, I am chosen of the Lord, I am God’s favorite! I have been justified, I have been declared innocent and I have been acquitted! Jesus Christ is interceding for me in heaven, therefore, I win in every area of my life this week, in the Name of Jesus!
