John 3:13 – “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.”
Meditation / Motivation
Here the Lord is revealing a very profound insight. He did not say, the Son of man who was in heaven, or
the Son of man who is going to be in heaven. While He was on earth, He was acknowledging His
heavenly position. Herein is one of the main keys to living an overcoming life – If you are going to live an
overcoming life, you must acknowledge your heavenly position while still on earth. Ephesians 2:6 says,
He raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. So, while we are
on earth, we are seated on the highest seat in all of heaven and on earth as well – The place of highest
authority. So, I can say like Jesus, right now as I am talking to you, I am seated in the heavenly realms in
Christ.
Prayer / Declaration
Thank you, Father, I was raised up together with Christ. I was made to sit together in the heavenly realm
in Christ Jesus. I have overcome all the forces of darkness, because I am seated far above them. All my
limitations and inadequacies have been left behind, because I am seated in the heavenlies. I live the
overcoming life by reason of the heavenly position.
